Mint to Be: Iced Mint Tea with Chocolate Cold Foam
Make it a moment
- Brew Blooming Soothe in 150ml freshly boiled water for 6–8 minutes. This stronger brew keeps the mint bright once the ice and foam are added.
- Remove the tea leaves and leave the brew to cool for a few minutes.
- In a small cup, mix the cocoa powder, maple syrup and teaspoon of hot water into a smooth chocolate paste. Leave it to cool.
- Add the chocolate mixture to the cold milk with a tiny pinch of salt. Froth on the cold setting until thick, smooth and pourable. Alternatively, whisk vigorously or shake in a tightly sealed jar.
- Fill a tall glass with ice and pour over the mint tea.
- Gently spoon the chocolate cold foam on top. Finish with a little grated dark chocolate if you’re feeling fancy.
Keep the layers separate and sip through the foam. Fresh mint hits first, followed by soft, creamy chocolate - and yes, they were mint to be.
